How do I start a NAMI support group in my area?

We appreciate your support and genuinely appreciate your desire to help more people affected by mental illness.

All of our NAMI Support Groups are run through our network of local Affiliates, each of which operates independently.  We would suggest that you reach out to the Affiliate that serves your geographic area to discuss ways to become involved.  To find your local NAMI Affiliate, click on your state through the Find Your Local NAMI menu. 

If there is no Affiliate serving your area, you may wish to reach out to the NAMI State Organization serving your state.  The State organizations are responsible for the establishment of new Affiliates
