What programs and services are impacted by the federal government shutdown?

The federal government has shut down as of October 1, 2025. The shutdown will remain in place until Congress passes a funding bill for the fiscal year 2026. 

The government shutdown may affect some of the health, housing, and assistance programs that you and your loved ones rely on. Funds for many programs will not be affected in the short-term but may be impacted if the shutdown lasts longer than a few weeks.
