I’d like to share my story to help others.

NAMI offers numerous options for sharing personal stories with the public where you can add your voice by sharing creative content such as personal stories, messages, art, photos, and videos.  In each, NAMI seeks to create a safe, moderated community where users can connect with others. 

NAMI is always accepting submissions for our NAMI Blog and the Advocate Magazine.  Articles and postings for each do not allow for anonymous publication.  You may review submission guidelines and submit your writing by clicking here.

  • The Advocate magazine is published at least two times a year as a member benefit. In every issue, we cover a variety of topics relating to mental health, from research to pop culture to personal stories.
  • Our NAMI blog features stories of recovery, ways to end stigma and strategies for living well. Most importantly, we feature your voices.
